I decided to move my office from the top floor of my home to the basement after the death of my wife. I knew that I needed someone to get me moving in the right direction. I contracted with Deb for her services, and delayed the start at least twice as I renovated the room into which I was moving. When we did get started, she helped me to make the tough decisions that I would have never made if she hadn’t been around. I shredded three contractor bags of papers which I no longer needed. Along the way, Deb allowed me to have time to remember some very important moments in my life without making me feel silly. We completed the move and the cleanup of my files in three sessions, and I am very happy with Deb’s services and assistance. I still have some more to do, but I am well ahead of where I would be on my own. When you begin to work with D. Allison Lee, you think that you will get your files organized, an office moved, or a garage cleaned out, but the experience is so much more than that. Deb demonstrates clear systems and strategies when it comes to organization, and that is what you pay for. Most importantly, what you get is someone who is also sympathetic to your attachment to things, and guides you through the process. There is no question that I will use D. Making an affirmation to myself that I would not end 2007 like it began with clutter and lack of organization, I decided to solicit the services of D. Allison Lee. Upon meeting and working with Debbie, I found her organizational knowledge and hands on approach to be exactly what I needed. The experience was so much more than I expected. I wanted to get started right away on this project. Deb came into my office and immediately started to get things organized. As she was putting things in the proper place, she was making a list of things that I needed to get from Office Depot/Staples. She worked for about an hour and a half, stopped what she was doing, went to Staples/Office Depot, got everything on the list, came back to the office, reorganized my office furniture, and set up my office supply cabinet. Now, I am able to do mostly all my work without getting up and walking around the office and looking for things. Dear Deb,Wow, I finally got a few minutes to take a breather and I wanted to drop you a line to tell you how happy I am with the work you did in my office. I used to hate to go to work in there because it was such a disaster. I would spend untold amounts of time looking for things that I just knew should be there but couldn’t find. Now, everything is at my fingertips and my office is now my sanctuary. I’m working to implement some of the strategies you gave me to try and keep it that way too. Deb Allison Lee is gifted as a professional organizer. As importantly, if not more, she is able to impart to her clients a spirit of order, elegance and repose. There are no words to express the gratitude I have for the talent of D. Allison Lee. I truly thought I was a hopeless cause, but Debbie stepped in and showed me the way through all of my clutter. You would not believe the mess! I am truly a pack rat trying to break away from the bad habit of keeping everything. It is amazing to watch her as she works through the maze of clutter. Ms. Lee organized my entire unpacking (from my closets to the kitchen pantries) in such an efficient and effortless manner. Working with Deb was effective, educational and efficient…and even very fun! Not only did our basement mess get streamlined and organized but Deb offered several tips for keeping it that way.
