Mission & Philosophy

The D. Allison Lee Mission:

  • To provide unique organizational strategies to individuals through needs assessment consultations and hands-on strategic implementation
  • To positively impact the lives of others, helping them do something good for themselves
  • To enable clients to gain control of their lives and to find or regain balance

The D. Allison Lee Philosophy:

"Effective use of organizational techniques is within anyone’s reach, especially when demonstrated by an organizer who uses a hands-on approach.”

Oftentimes, a different point of view can present new ways of tackling existing problems. When those techniques are demonstrated, clients can see themselves in action as they work alongside the organizer. Time between visits also gives the client opportunities to successfully practice new ways of doing things.

"Being unorganized doesn’t mean that you're not trying hard enough."

Even the most organized person can become overwhelmed, particularly when there is a shift in work-life balance. A new project at work, a new baby, or other life changing situation—even a good one—can present unexpected challenges that may lead to a breakdown in systems. D. Allison Lee helps her clients to understand reasons why an imbalance has occurred, and develops a plan to help regain equilibrium.

"Every professional organizer has the responsibility to provide her clients with a tangible set of strategies that is Innovative, Structured, & Organized—every time.”

The organizer’s role in providing assistance requires patience, discretion, and most of all, the ability to implement innovative strategies that address the client's unique needs. Any new routines that are introduced are blended into the client’s familiar way of doing things. This makes it easier to achieve success.
