Don’t hate Instapaper because it’s beautiful.
Love it because works like a charm and lets you organize all your favorite websites using a wonderful things called folders. Gmail could learn a thing or two about folders, but that’s a whole other conversation.
Instapaper and I get along very well. We’re friends who see each other every day. Actually, many times a day. Sometimes with coffee in hand, but usually, I’m holding a mouse. We definitely have a love-love relationship that developed over folders. Having folders means that I can find articles more quickly and easily because they’re grouped by category.
And, I have lots of them, 26 to be exact. I used to have 26 (or more) tabs open at the same time. That was back when I suffered from tab abuse. But, that’s a thing of the past since I found Instapaper.
Of course, you don’t need to have as many folders as I do. You may only want to save articles across a couple of topics. And, you can delete them when you’re finished reading. If you haven’t already given it a go, check it out and let me know how you use your folders.
You know I love Instapaper. In fact, I now use it exclusively to save articles I want to read later. If you get your news and resources online, this is an amazing tool to have. In case I couldn’t convince you last time, here’s a feature that might persuade you to give it a go.
See that button that says “Read Later?” All you have to do is drag it to your bookmarks toolbar and click on it each time you come across an article you want to check out later. Instapaper will automatically add it to your account.
Could it get any simpler than that? Yes, it can. You can install it on your iPhone so you can save articles when you’re phone-browsing (is that a word??). And, yes, it will sync with the web-based app.
Ready to give it a shot?
