Track Your Appointments & Tasks From (Almost) Anywhere on the Planet

I’m all for online calendars. You can access them anywhere as long as you have three little things:

1. An internet connection (hopefully, one that is not as slow as molasses or accompanied by fax tones)

2. Your user name

3. Your password

Tech calendars let you see what’s coming down the pike whether you’re at an internet cafe, your local Starbucks, or even if you were in, say, Timbuktu (you know that’s a real place, right?). Not sure what the internet access is like there, so check before you visit. ;)

I juggle a few projects (who doesn’t?) along with my usual client schedule, and I use both Google and Yahoo! calendars to keep myself on track. I’ve also stumbled across a couple other online calendars that you might find interesting. Have you used them or do you something else that you think is fabulous?  Tell us about it.

Cozi.com ~ Family Life. Simplified

It’s a robust application that lets you track your appointments, to do’s (with reminders), and shopping lists. You even get a family journal and can store your pics. Cozi also makes nice with Outlook, so sync away…and go mobile with the Android or iPhone app. The cherry on top:  it’s free. View the Cozi Quick Demo.

PlumLife.com ~ Conquer the Details

Like using colors on your calendar? Then have at it with PlumLife. This means you can create more than one calendar (e.g., personal vs. biz), view them simultaneously, and know exactly what’s what. This is a great option that I use with my Yahoo! calendar.

PlumLife also has a mobile app, lets you manage your tasks, and gives you a map feature so you can where those errands will take you. There are two paid user options as well as a free 30-day trial.  View the PlumLife Demo.
