Non-Fact Friday: Holidays
“If you don’t celebrate the holidays, that means you’re more organized…right?” [Deb Lee · Random Thoughts · Week of November 23, 2009]
Alright, so this week’s Fact Friday, is not so much of a fact as it is a question. So, what do you think? Is it a fair assumption that if you don’t celebrate the holidays – no dinners to prepare, no presents to buy, no house/office to decorate – you are more organized?
What say you?

There are many people who don’t celebrate the holidays for a variety of reasons. My question was not whether stopping the celebrations would make one more organized. Rather, I was (and still am) curious about whether someone who *already* does not celebrate could be more orderly simply because they buy and do less at this time of year.
Thanks a for a very thought provoking comment, Jane! =)

Having no holidays means celebrating nothing. If that’s your reality, you’re disorganized. SOMETHING in your life bears celebrating. No? It’s all bland one-ness?? Then the Day of the Dead is your holiday! Celebrate your mortality! This too shall come to an end!!
